Boats & Motors:

You will be assured of pleasant, comfortable hours on Red Lake, jigging for walleye or casting for northern pike, in our extra-roomy 16 ft Alumarine boats powered by dependable 25 hp Yamaha motors. The boats have swivel seats (seat cushions are available) and all safety equipment; landing nets, minnow buckets and life jackets are provided.

Before you begin your Red Lake fishing adventure, we thoroughly check the boats & motors and give you a primer on their operation. Staff gas up the camp boats each evening and are available for fill ups during the day.

There is room to mount your trolling motor and fish finders to make your fishing vacation more enjoyable.

Dock System:

Our extensive docking system will accommodate up to 25 boats and are able to accommodate battery charging for anyone bringing a private boat who needs to charge. There is both straight and mixed (50:1) gas available for sale. 

Bait:

We have minnows for sale at Sunset Lodge. We carry a medium mix and a chub or sucker minnow depending on the season. Crawlers and leeches are available in town for anyone who prefers their presentation.

Fish Cleaning House:

We have a large spacious fish cleaning house with ample freezer space so please don't clean your fish in the cabins. We supply freezer wrap, tape and markers. Its walls are a who's who of the walleye and northern pike fishermen (& women & kids) and hunters over the years!
